Oubliette

Oubliette ( One Single Impression, Prompt : oubliette )

Power of HIS blessings

And a nest that is abode of

Love

Freedom

Trust, intimacy,

Togetherness….

is a place all want to return to

Every evening.

Power struggle,

Control, domination,

Lust ,

Games….

And

Every evening turns into……..

Late office hours,

Late meetings,

Late night parties,

Hotels and alcohol…..

One avoids returning to

What is now…….

  1. So true and real...:)

    You said it right!

Nobody wants to live in an oubliette existence.

  2. As I was reading, I couldn't help but feel trapped in the oubliette you pictured, writing.

    "Power struggle,
    Control, domination,
    Lust ,
Games…." -- This is your oubliette.

    Powerful imagery through feelings!

  3. "Power of HIS blessings

And a nest that is abode of

    Love..."

I think it sums up all.

Mind is always ready to indulge into power struggle. Only HIS blessings can keep us away from it.

    Lets pray for HIS blessings.

    Thank you.

  4. I love the dual images of the oubliette. Shelter in one instance is fear in the other.

  11. Kind of the same thought I had in my post. Well stated and love the format that you wrote it in. It "looks" enticing.
