An Angel...

Ten years of our marriage,

And you have known me…

As if for ages!

Eve of New Year,

Eager for your prize,

Ever for me a surprise,

May be a long drive…, or a bon-fire…

…a nature ride…, or a trek to a peak…

The wings of my zeal only to soar high.

As the morning dawned…

We started off with a bong,

You took me to an old mansion,

Children playing on the lawn…

Out came a nun, a small girl holding hand,

Her parents, I was told were victims of a bomb.

I stretched out my arms as she gazed me upon

And... she cuddled unto mine…!

A daughter for me along with my son…

 …Indeed you could always read,

My words unrevealed  & thoughts unspoken …

Driving home back as you were smiling on,

My heart over whelm for the cute little charm

A gift best than the best… of I imagine…!

Insecure...

Stranger to that which lies...Within...,

Winged by thoughts & hallucinations…

Fluttering hard, in search of the unseen

Languishing on the streets of the unknown

The Insecure Me…

Will ever settle… perch for a while...

Feel the Safe… and the Peace,

At least for a moment,... at ease …!

    Grounded well deep into the soil,

             Tall and humble,

              Fresh and agile,

                             Swinging for joy… in storm and breeze,

                                  Rooted firm with Trust and Peace…

   

                                                 

                                                Her Tree of Love,

                                                 Nurtured in care,

                                        With the Droplets, of His Grace…!

Yearn…

Then… as a child,

They loved me and cared for.

They happily received and accepted,

My love & my flaw…

They heartily admired and enjoyed,

My goodness & my naughtiness…

No power plays… or ego clash…

…Now that I am grown up,

     Why are they different...?

My love for them is still the same…

Will I ever get them back…?

Will they ever understand me?

The yearning of a grown up child…!

A lovely campus, close to their house.

A beautiful evening, to walk along...

The green grass, tall trees,

Chirping birds fluttering wings,

And a clear blue sky….

Cool gentle breeze

Caressing them,

They sat under a tree

Watching the sun set….

An aura so beautiful, so divine...

She turned unto him…her lips smiling,

He was smiling too!

…Her heart prayed

“Fill within us your light of love, as you go down…

And refill again with much more of it, as you return…”

Oh, with Your every Rise and Set,
